I am a Junior at Indiana University Bloomington studying to obtain my Bachelor's degree in marketing from the Kelley School of Business. I have had experience interning for Moorehead Communications, Inc., the largest Verizon Wireless Premium retailer, where I was afforded the opportunity to have hands-on experience with customer care and retail marketing. In 2011, after my first trip to Zambia, Africa I co-founded a non-profit organization, Ifwe, which educates, clothes and feeds children and adults from the slum of Linda located in Lusaka, Zambia. I am currently employed by Indiana University Recreational Sports, where I lead group exercise. My current job has allowed me to fine tune my skills in leadership and communication as well as increased confidence. On campus, I participate in a community garden project and hold in high regard the preservation of our natural resources and hope to work for a company that also recognizes the importance of caring for our environment.
