Hi! I am a Public Health graduate from the University of Massachusetts Amherst looking to gain experience in the field of Health Science. I am passionate about empowering human rights, improving healthcare for all, and making a difference. I have a background of working in social and family services as an intern for three summers in a row. That is where I gained experience working with case managers, social workers, service coordinators, and nurses. I worked not only with staff, but with children and families with disabilities as well. That is where I also strengthened my skills in problem solving, filing, data entry, customer service, Microsoft Office, and working with others.My strengths include organization, communication, creativity, and teamwork. At Charles River as an intern, I was accountable for helping develop a curriculum specific to life skills, job skills, and social skills for the clients with developmental disabilities. This ranged from PowerPoints, presentations, worksheets, and role playing. I also worked direct care with the clients in the program as well.
