I manage a busy healthy fast food restaurant on Swan St. in Richmond. My responsibilities revolve around overseeing daily operations, managing staff schedules, and ensuring top-notch customer service. I excel in maintaining efficiency, handling inventory, and upholding cleanliness standards while also prioritizing customer satisfaction. My skills include effective communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail, crucial for managing a busy and dynamic environment like ours. One of Greenstreat's core values is sustainability, and I work hard to reduce our footprint through food waste and operational inefficiencies. In June I introduced a 'bring your own bowl' scheme to reduce packaging waste while saving costs. In researching supply chains I make suggestions for sustainable choices.

This was a voluntary and remote role. - I helped to initiate a group preparing a submission to the Irish Citizens' Assembly on Biodiversity Loss. - Through this network I learned from others’ diverse experiences and shared my own.

Transylvania
During my bachelor’s, I volunteered to work on remote field studies of flora and fauna and traditional agricultural practices, informing EU agricultural policy and biodiversity policyWe studied the uniquely high level of biodiversity through surveys and transects of the local flora and fauna. Special attention was given to indicator species such as bats and amphibians to evaluate the health of the ecosystem. The research aim was to study the effects of changing agricultural practices in response to EU legislation, and their effect on the ecosystem. Until now, traditional agricultural methods were in place that coexisted with and in many ways benefited the local biodiversity. EU agricultural policies now drive a shift towards more lucrative monocultures, to the detriment of Transylvanian ecosystems.
Some of my responsibilities included; operating heavy equipment, preparing chemical coats, gutting buildings, and cleaning. I had different responsibilities daily, including working as a team.
