I've been in the telecommunications industry for over 25 years, entirely focused on building end-to-end solutions using one or more Cisco and 3rd party technologies.I got my start with high-speed data over Cable to most recently building production SaaS network orchestration and visualization platforms built on containers/Kubernetes/AWS. Along that journey came DPI driven QoS, voice-over-ip, video-over-ip, content delivery, DC architectures (traditional 3 tier and spine/leaf), a Service Provider focused OpenStack-driven public cloud, Network Function Virtualization, and SAML-based SSO architectures. My passion is working directly with customers, helping them integrate our technologies into their environments to reduce pain points in running their business. When our technologies have deficiencies, I work directly with product management to document requirements to fill those gaps. Once those requirements arrive at engineering, I consult with engineering to provide guidance on how the customer will use the new feature or functionality, which drives technical decisions on its development. My educational background in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, coupled with a minor in Psychology, combines technical concepts with understanding the human element behind each solution. I have a robust skill set encompassing networking technologies and cloud platforms and can efficiently communicate across the spectrum of software developers to high-level executives. It's my priority to bring a holistic approach to every project, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.I'm married with 3 children who keep me busy outside of work. My favorite thing to do is watching my children perform, whether it's soccer, volleyball, or on stage. My hobbies include skiing, coaching soccer, woodworking, building IoT "things" to "smartify" my home, and playing video games with my son.
