Underwriting & Customer Analytics - Analyzing data to optimize health and better outcomes at Kaiser Permanente.

Active participation in a range of management, management consulting, and analytic support for customer-specific data analysis and reporting. Analytic and Reporting Consultants provide analytical/strategic-thinking and leadership skills and: 1) support account management and/or groups in making strategic data-related decisions by analyzing, internally managing and reporting data for our customers; 2) design and execute complex analytics projects (working with pricing, CMI, product development, market research, etc) that involve data collection and analysis for a broad array of healthcare issues across disciplines and functional areas; 3) make recommendations to KP leadership; 4) create analysis that inform critical strategic issues; and 5) contribute to problem solving, process design and analytical report development.

Business Consulting: Includes analysis/evaluation of business and/or system process and functional requirements, development of business cases, client support during system development and implementation, development and maintenance of service level agreements. Develops relationships with upstream and downstream business partners. Develops/maintains and changes business processes, and understands the business processes of assigned partners and how they relate to our functional areas. Develops and recommends changes to business processes.

Client Service Manager is accountable for the successful execution of business processes and administrative requirements for accounts. Establishes and maintains relationships with brokers and front line benefit contacts that support business strategies. Manages business processes that support achieving and maintaining optimal business position. Monitors accounts and book of business to identify early indications of risks and opportunities.
