Experienced Senior Project Architect with a career spanning over two decades, specializing in the design and construction of Performing Arts Centers, cultural facilities, and other intricate building types. Throughout my professional journey, I have demonstrated proficiency across all phases of design and construction, consistently delivering exceptional results.Currently serving as a Principal at OTJ Architects in the Architecture studio, my primary focus lies in crafting innovative and sustainable solutions for Performing Art, Cultural, and Civic buildings to our clients.During my time at CannonDesign I expanded my experience where I focused my efforts in their Higher Education projects in the mid-Atlantic area, while working with project teams located globally. Notably, I contributed my skills to successful projects at institutions such as UMD, ODU, and NVCC.During a significant phase of my career, I had the privilege of working with the renowned international design fi rm, Bing Thom Architects (now Revery Architecture). Under the mentorship of Bing Thom himself, I was part of the on-site Construction Administration team for the Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater, completed in the Fall of 2010. My journey continued and expanded with Bing Thom Architects in managing their satellite office in Washington DC, where I served as the primary point of contact for their east coast projects. Additionally, I provided valuable design and technical support to teams located in the Vancouver and Hong Kong offices, with significant contributions to the MacEwan University’s Center for the Arts and Culture in Edmonton, Tianjin Binhai Civic Centre & Theatre in Tianjin, and the Xiqu Centre in the West Kowloon Cultural District in Hong Kong.One of the hallmarks of my career is my ability to skillfully address and resolve issues that arise during project execution, especially in the field. This capability stems from a solid technical knowledge base that I have developed over time. I take pride in knowing what it takes to put a successful set of drawings together as well as in the effective coordination with consultants and communication with contractors. As I continue to be driven by a passion for architectural excellence and innovation, I look forward to contributing my skills and expertise to create impactful and extraordinary spaces that enrich communities and enhance the built environment.
