>Provide pre- and post operative nursing care for up to 5 adult and geriatric patients with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions including lumbar laminectomies, Total knee replacements, Total shoulder replacements, XLIF, Roux ny gastric bypass, Lap sleeve gastrectomy, and anterior/posterior cervical discectomies, >Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures and other aspects of therapeutic regimens, including medication and pain management techniques. >Administer oral, intramuscular, nubulizer, and subcutaneous medications. >Provide emergency medical care to patients in a Emergency Services Department. >Ensure the provision of quality emergency medical care to patients requiring emergency treatment in accordance with physician orders, hospital policy, and standard nursing practice. >Perform patient assessment and nursing diagnosis.
