Machinery and welding have been my focus since graduating from high school. I attended Henry Street High School where I excelled greatly in all of my trade courses and was highly keen on working in large group work activities. After high school I began attending Durham College for the Industrial Maintenance Mechanic course and took many stimulating and hands-on classes such as Blueprint Reading, Hydraulics, Electrical, Pneumatics, Welding and Communications. I then began a focus on welding, as my skills in this trade excelled greatly, driving me to attend Durham College’s Welding Techniques program where I received excellent training in all welding processes such as SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SAW, OAW, and other aspects including print reading, cutting, grinding, and utilizing fixtures to name just a few.
