Over a 30 year period I have been involved in the design and development of nearly every product category for consumer electronics, including television, radio, telephones, digital terrestrial receivers (Digi boxes), personal video recorders (Digi boxes with hard drives). Brands include GEC, Granada, Ferguson, ITT, fidelity, Humax, Logik, Pace, Daewoo, BT, and more.Other items developed by HDS and TQ include medical equipment, test and instrumentation, lighting products, sheltered accommodation alarm systems, high-end telephone products, energy-saving eco-products, high definition ultra-compact camera systems for specialist applications.Manufacturing disciplines include injection moulded plastics, progression formed sheet steel, die castings, extruded plastics and aluminium, injection and transfer moulded rubber components, vacuum formed plastics and aluminium (yes, this is a real process!).TQ now specialises in manufacturing kits of parts for final assembly in UK or complete products in China using our hub in Shenzhen for project management, quality control and sourcing vendors for new component and product manufacture.All concept design and mechanical engineering is completed in the UK with toolmaking, electronics software and hardware, manufacturing in China.
