While at CGI, increased tripled sales revenue and established a foundation for continued growth in sales revenue. • ISO9001, Lean manufacturing, materials/core management, warehouse management, bar coding, computer access for every repair station and better identification of products to repair were all implemented or improved. A “learning” database was implemented that allowed inclusion of the analysis and repair of each product into a real-time Pareto analysis that allowed technicians to quickly identify the most likely defect and solution to convert future core to saleable product.• Developed and coordinated the strategy to implement ISO9001, convince Sears to use higher quantities of re-manufactured parts, add customers, initiate “RFR” and add re-manufacturing of fitness products. As a result, revenues and profits increased threefold and CGI was well positioned for substantial future growth.• Organized “core” management processes to provide better estimates of revenue backlog and identification of core by part number and family. This provided a roadmap to re-manufacture parts and allow better use of engineering and direct labor resources -- resulting in higher margins.• Worked closely with Sears, Whirlpool, BSH and others to improve customer satisfaction. Achieved Sears’ Partners-in-Progress award in 3 of the 4 years eligible, and their 2003 Innovation Supplier of the Year award. • New Services including direct internet sales, e-Bay sales, and various collection center activities were successfully added to increase customer base and enter new markets to reduce dependence on one customer.
