Hi, I'm Brian Arella, a finance enthusiast and a senior at Fordham Gabelli School of Business, pursuing a BS in Finance with a minor in Computer Science and a concentration in Alternative Investments. I am passionate about the intersection of finance and technology, and how it can drive innovation and growth in the industry.I have gained valuable experience and skills in data analysis, financial modeling, and research through my internships at Mizuho, EXCALIBUR SPORTS, and the New York Yankees. At Mizuho, I developed credit models and macro functions for the Investment Grade Bond team, prepared data summaries and graphs of bond trends and comparisons, and worked on a group project to create and present a company pitch book for a proposed M&A transaction. At EXCALIBUR SPORTS, I conducted research and analysis of MLB player data for salary arbitration hearings, using both traditional and advanced metrics. At the New York Yankees, I interacted with corporate guests for VIP events, coordinated guest experience, and resolved conflicts. I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills to the finance world, where I can leverage my finance and computer science background, my data analysis and research abilities, and my interest in the market. My goal is to contribute to the development and growth of financial solutions that can enhance efficiency, accuracy, and innovation in the financial industry.
