Bri-Guy's is a sole-proprietorship run only by myself. I make the highest quality hand-made tie-dyed clothing available. I do everything from R&D, manufacturing, sales, support, IT, etc. I sell online through the website, sell wholesale to a few stores, and do some music festivals and craft fairs, etc. to sell my products.I have just upgraded my web server to an instance on Amazon EC2. Previously I hosted the site on a server in house using DDNS. The webserver is Apache, and I use WordPress for the CMS.My previous experience was with Lotus Notes/Domino (which I actually still use today to host a family Christmas list app that I wrote myself). But after I left IBM, Notes was already in a decline and since it was also proprietary, I wanted to learn something more open source. So I decided on WordPress since I could also learn PHP and MySQL as well. Everything is open source, I like that.

CloudFloor DNS (An EverBridge Company) - Website/PHP development for new portal site for US markets. Existing PHP source code was modified into a portal and integrated with new WordPress powered website. New menu changes, CSRF & XSS mitigation, fixed cookies & hardcoded values and links specific only to UK market.MyZWave.net - Website migration to an Amazon EC2 instance. Wordpress CMS running on Microsoft IIS. I didn't know IIS, so I had to learn a little bit to get this working. Tested on Amazon before switching over the DNS from the old site.Natural Roots Hydroponics - Pre-Existing Wordpress CMS website. Migrated from the previous host to a shared server on Verio. Added E-commerce functionality and data which was fully tested. Wrote some custom code to handle certain products which were only available in-store. Trained staff to add their own content.Bri-Guy's - This is my small business, I've done everything for this site. Wordpress CMS website with a customized theme, added E-commerce functionality, extended the picture gallery to be "shop-ified". Current plans include a redesigned responsive mobile friendly site. Testing and application development on the Lotus Notes/Domino and IBM Websphere projects.I started at (Iris) working in the QMR (Quarterly Maintenance Release) group. We were responsible for testing all the new codebases (usually 4 a year) before they were released to the public. We tested all the new code fixes and did regression testing to ensure old code didn't break. Since my background was in Notes application development, I was responsible for testing programmability areas like Formula language and LotusScript, and the Designer Client. The first thing I did was organize and test Formulas for Y2K bugs, remember Y2K?! :) We had our own lab with 3 or 4 different environments to do the testing. I was the Domain Administrator for one of these domains (as well as being responsible for my own test areas), running clients and servers on all types of Operating Systems like different flavors of Windows, Mac, Unix, and Linux. Since the Unix/Linux platforms weren't GUI, I wrote my own bash script automation to upgrade the new code which was usually run every day.I left the QMR group and joined the Core group for my last few years. This group was responsible for testing the newest current code base that was being used. In this group I retained most of the same areas I had before, as well as adding some new areas like Java, Debugger, and some areas of the Notes Client.

Mainly worked as Lotus Notes/Domino application developer on the largest contract the company had at Arthur D. Little. We created an intranet knowledge base application for them to manage their HR resources. At least 4 of us were working on it at one time, I was the 2nd lead developer of a group of 3, and we also had a manager. We worked on site at ADL. I was responsible for front-end design and back-end database work in Notes using LotusScript (Visual Basic), as well as HTML and JavaScript. I worked on this project for over a year, then I left the company to work for Iris, the creators of Lotus Notes.My first 6 months at InterNoded I was working with a small group in the Lotus building doing support with the Business Partner Program. I had never worked with Lotus Notes before. I learned fast and quickly came up to speed, and was promoted to work on the ADL project after that. I was a top performer in the company and was invited to go on the annual company trip in my second year.
