Responsible to the Executive Officer and Commanding Officer for the Damage Control readiness of an Avenger Class Mine Countermeasure Ship. Trained in the tactical and strategic employment of our nation's counter-mine assets, including surface, air, and undersea forces.

Directly responsible for the materials, operations, and personnel in several divisions onboard a Harper's-Ferry Class Amphibious Warship. Tasked with maintaining operational readiness of the flight deck, well deck, and boat deck to ensure aviation, amphibious, and counter-piracy mission areas are fully capable. Managerially, I ensure the wellbeing and readiness of 40+ sailors and the equipment they operate to fight our enemies at home and abroad. Professionally, it is my job to learn and employ the tactics and strategies our modern navy uses to maintain freedom of the seas.
