Oversee operation of a Auto parts Distribution Center, in a 120,000 sq ft operation, consisting of handling corporate and third party automotive parts. This is the highest volume DC in the current network. Current responsibilities include, managing the picking department, consists of 25-30 pickers, running the shipping department 30 shippers and 18 different runs, shuttle and counter pick up services, and our inbound department.I manage all production standards to ensure all product is picked, packed, and shipped properly and accurately to our customers and corporate stores

To oversee the daily operation of Distribution Center Associates and to ensure that merchandise is properly and efficiently picked to fill store and regional D.C. orders. This position consists of a variety of different tasks, ranging from inventory control to Associate management.Interact professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication with all professional contacts with an emphasis on the Company’s interests.Independently prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.Analyze data to determine the appropriate course of action. The nature of this position entails supervising one or more work units in the Distribution Center, to include ongoing training and assignment delegation. The Distribution Center Supervisor is also responsible for providing primary input toward the performance evaluations of the Distribution Center Associates as well as hiring, disciplining and terminating employees.

Responsible for assisting the Store Leader in achieving the store’s budgeted sales and profit goals. Ensure that all merchandise is accurately received, priced, stocked and backroom is maintained per OSE standards.  Prioritizes merchandise moving to sales floor and areas to be stocked, including POG and end cap sets  Trains and develops partners on proper receiving, processing and stocking procedures,  Adhere to and promote established safety procedures.  Directly supervises the Merchandise Operations Specialists. Leads and coaches all store partners in providing great guest service and performing their assigned task with the objective of achieving budgeted sales.  Ensures RTV and Hazardous Waste processed are managed per Petco policy.  Provide training and coaching in GUEST and product knowledge to store partners. Assist the Guest Experience Leader and/or Store Leader in planning out location changes needed to the grid and ad planner to maximize sales.

Responsible for all merchandise coming into to the via different vendors and delivery methods (approximately 14 million dollars a year), work with delivery team to ensure customer orders are received and scheduled for customer delivery. Maintain all facility needs, repairs on equipment, structure, cleanliness, and overall store appearance. Maintain records of all incoming,out bound products, vendor returns, and out for repair items. Ensure all freight is unloaded and placed out for sale based on company guidelines. Manage a staff of 15 associates on two different shifts.

Executed approved projects for eight different stores. Projects directed from vendors and MET leadership, such as building displays and setting up holiday/seasonal transitions. Assembled all necessary displays needed for presentation and ensuring all cross merchandising is correct to store layouts. Responsible for overseeing 8-12 associates and building relationships with store management. Volunteered on a couple Team Depot events, building playgrounds for YMCA and hurricane Sandy relief.

Supervise the daily work load of the garden department including, inventory control, scheduling associates, setting up all seasonal transitions, such as spring and holiday resets. Supervise and writing performance reviews for 15-20 associates. Organizing projects, training, and proper scheduling of associates based on company needs

Responsible for overseeing fresh food departments. This includes but not limited to, maintaining health codes, Serv Safe standards, control of departmental profit and loss budgets. Ensure all proper logs and documentation are kept up to date. Manage 15-20 associates within these areas. Organize multiple projects,maintain work flow, write performance reviews and assist with daily functions of a big box retail store.

Plan and schedule all shipping and receiving needs for proper inventory control. This includes inventory maintenance, shrink control, and return to vendor merchandise. Managing and writing performance reviews for an overnight night crew of 10-15 associates, ensuring the store is stocked and grand open ready every day.

Assist management with mentoring, training, assigning job duties, and supervising associates. Ensuring store readiness, including but not limited to, accurately pricing cleaning, proper placement of merchandise, and ensuring all category layouts are set to company guidlines.,

Proper organization of finished product and raw materials . Work with commercial carriers to decrease costs without losing quality of service. Inspect all shipment for accuracy to ensure customer satisfaction
