Brian Bair has served as Offerpad’s Chief Executive Officer and a member of its board of directors since founding the company in July 2015, with a mission to provide the best way to buy and sell a home. In September 2021, he also assumed the role of Chairman of the Board.With a deep background in the real estate industry spanning more than 15 years, Brian has pioneered several successful real estate service models that aim to give sellers and buyers more certainty and control over their real estate transactions. Additionally, he has consulted for national companies on how to acquire, renovate, and sell homes and has served as an advisory member for the Freddie Mac Housing of Tomorrow Council since January 2020.Prior to founding Offerpad, Brian was the founder and president at Bair Group Real Estate from 2008 to 2015. He also co-founded Lexington Financial Services as well as Bridgeport Financial Services, a company that specialized in acquiring distressed homes.

Brian Bair was a co-founder of Lexington Financial, LLC, (“Lexington”) which purchased, renovated and leased single family homes acquired through various methods such as trustee sales, direct purchases from financial institutions and the retail market. The goal of Lexington was to capitalize on the bottomed-out housing prices and an estimated short-term recovery over the following 1—3 years. After leasing the properties, Lexington held the properties while they generated income until they could be packaged and sold as a block to a hedge fund for maximum profitability.Lexington acquired individual properties during this time, then repaired or remodeled them for leasing and eventual resale. At the time of resale, Lexington realized a 75% return on original investment. Brian Bair was responsible for company strategy and the acquisition and resale of all properties.

Brian Bair co-founded and brought together the management team for Bridgeport Financial Services, LLC, (“Bridgeport”) which purchased, remodeled and resold single family homes acquired through trustee sales and direct purchases from financial institutions. Bridgeport acquired more than 700 individual properties during this time at a cost of more than $70 million dollars. They then repaired, remodeled, or completed the homes for resale. Brian Bair was responsible for the purchase, marketing, listing and sale of all properties. Bridgeport and Brian Bair’s experience and ability is attested by an average marketing time of 95 days from date of acquisition to sale closing date for properties during an otherwise disastrous period for Arizona real estate.
