Brian Baird is currently Non-Exec Director of Replify Ltd, a global Application Acceleration product company and Non-Exec Director of Flowlens Ltd, an integrated CRM/ERP software product company.Brian was a founding member of Repstor, a Microsoft-oriented ECM company and acted as non-Exec Chairman until its sale to Intapp in May 2021. Previously he was a founder of Meridio, an Enterprise Document & Records product company in June 2001. As CEO he grew the company to 175 staff and in excess of $20m p.a. revenue by 2006. In November 2007 he led a trade sale of Meridio to Autonomy plc and following a six month integration programme left the Autonomy group in May 2008.Prior to founding Meridio, Brian spent 15 years with ICL, most recently as Managing Director of ICL in Ireland. He assumed this role in April 1998. In this period Ireland attracted ICL investment with the set-up of an Oracle Centre of Excellence in Dundalk, a Microsoft Centre of Excellence in Belfast and an e-Business pan-European trading community in Dublin. These activities enhanced ICL’s workforce in Ireland to more than 1000 staff. Complementing this role, Brian was a board member of Kainos Software Ltd., Synergy Centres Ltd and the Information Technology Centre in Dublin. Brian was previously Sales & Marketing Director for ICL International & Europe and prior to this worked for Honeywell Information Systems for 9 years in Project Management and Sales roles. Brian was educated at Queens University Belfast where he graduated with BSc (Hons) in Computer Science. In 2001 he received an honorary doctorate from University of Ulster for services to the ICT industry. Brian was awarded on OBE in the 2023 New Years Honours for services to the Northern Ireland economy.
