Responsible for industrial engineering for wind turbine, steel mill, and semiconductor manufacturing applications in the US. Perform analysis to select bearing to best satisfy customer requirements. Analyze bearing returns and generate failure reports. Visit customers to support sales staff and to generate new business. Manage projects from bearing selection to delivery including contact with factory in Japan to maintain delivery schedule.

Design and select machined springs, flexible couplings, and U-joints to meet customer applications. Collaborate with engineers in the medical, aerospace, commercial, and industrial markets to provide custom solutions. Determine customer requirements from proposal form or discussions directly with customer. Create 3-D models and engineering sketches in SolidWorks for new designs. Determine feasibility of product using custom analysis programs. Assist quality with disposition of non-conforming product. Present technical information to sales reps at engineering seminar. Field calls from customers requesting replacement couplings for competitive products.
