Neighbors that are familiar with my skills and experience are free to call for situations revolving around fixing computers with slow or no internet connections, problems with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, and computers that are slow to boot or do not boot at all.

Using IBM UNIDATA (similar to PICK multivalue databases), and IBM UNIBASIC developed an interface for migrating data between ASCII based file formats to UNIDATA. It allowed Payroll and Human Resources information systems to populate UNIDATA database tables from conventional data in an ASCII format. Prior to this interface, all Payroll and Human Resources information had to come from custom UNIDATA / UNIBASIC programs.Created a Web Based personnel and telephone directory with Visual Studio C# and SQL Server 2000.Conducted and prepared technology evaluations of CMS Web Portal solutions. The existing web portal is a collection outdated HTML and JavaScript applications and needs to be designed on a Visual Studio framework.

Authoring research for Verizon senior management. This includes white papers and research into current Information system strategy and expect ion of ongoing trends in systems management.

Using Visual Studio, C# with SQL Server, Migrated an HTML inventory system to ADO.NET. The system was responsible for tracking application and OS metadata for several thousand Windows, SUN, and AIX servers used in the Verizon production footprint and spanned 7 datacenters. Production Operations depended on the application to cross reference application messaging to servers and vice versa.Creation of customized web tools with Using Visual Studio with C# to assist data center personnel with reporting of Patrol monitored systems.Using Visual Studio with C# created applications for data mining of Operations console messages from a SQL 2000 data source.Visual Studio with C# created real-time graphics applications from data returned by SQL 2000 queries.Conversion of application system documentation from many different formats into a Visual Studio and C# structured web based format. Application support existed in many sources, such as word documents, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and other textual information. To resolve this problem I created a web based reference library that indexed applications and logged all changes to the data thereby satisfying auditors requirements. The benefit to Verizon is that they now have application work flows, troubleshooting procedures, on call and escalation contacts and other support information necessary for minimizing outage times.Created Using Visual Studio with C# web based monitoring of Windows Server 2003 resources using Windows Script Host (WSH). WSH is a very useful tool for allowing you to directly run WHS Script, JAVA Script and XML encoded scripts natively from web based applications.Using Visual Studio, C#, XLM, HTML, CSS, IIS, and JavaScript for maintenance of departmental and application web sites used by Data Center Operations.
