In the late 90's we moved from the WTC to our own building at One North End Ave., across from the WTC. The building has 15 floors with two trading floors. Since NYMEX owns the building, I had added responsibilities, including Fire Marshall of trading floors and also involved with security on a daily basis. I was involved in many fire/emergency drills, as well as, real ones. I was one of a small group who went into our building two days after 9/11 to access the damages to our trading floors and begin the process so we could open for trading on that next Monday. I worked with many different law enforcement agencies, as well as Fire Department officials. I wanted to add this to my resume since I was not only the Trading floor operations manager for over 200 employees, as well as 1000 Trading Members, but a big part of the security and safety of the whole building.
