Preceding the pandemic, I worked as a Licenced London Taxi Driver (Green badge holder). Sadly, the trade was severely impacted, and I began exploring the possibility to qualify in the electrical trade which has been a long-standing ambition of mine.My experience as a London Taxi Driver for 21 years has given me the opportunity to gain relevant skills transferable to the Electrical trade which include a high safety standard, customer engagement and trust.I am a hard worker and quick learner. I thrive on being set challenges to expand my knowledge and retain information and process requests under pressure as well as being an effective communicator with an excellent focus on the customer. I can be flexible to support with weekend work and any additional overtime to ensure the required work is completed.My long-term aspirations are to gain an ECS Gold Card and to achieve this I recognise the need to enhance my mental and practical ability and experience in varying fields of the electricals trade. Through my recent commitment to study the required City & Guilds Diploma I can demonstrate my readiness to learn and achieve this goal.
