Outside sales I call on corporations with safety footwear needs and set up programs for their employees to be fit and purchase their safety product from Beck's Shoes. The goal is to make sure each site and employee is wearing the proper safety footwear, as well as making the billing and accounting part as stress free and seamless as possible for those involved on the backend paperwork side. Overall both departments are about consistent communication and partnerships that end up with hand shakes and high fives at the end of the day, meaning they were highly successful for all involved in the process and results.

Recently have moved on from managing and growing the everyday retail business to making decisions on product buys, budgets and making sure our stores have the right product to serve our consumer, all while getting the proper turn and ROI(Return on Investment) that our business model requires. In between this I have also been granted the opportunity to do outside retail sales. The easiest part about this is that since I know our business model, and our service expectations I am confident and happy to present the brand of "Beck's Shoes" to the public knowing fair well that we have the best quality product, amazing customer service, great follow through and the means to completly exceed our customers expectations. It's an exciting time, and I truly enjoy heading into work everyday and trying to share the great products and programs we have developed with consumers who have never had the Beck's Shoes expierence.

Over the last nine years at Beck’s Shoes I have managed nine locations, three mobile shoe onsite shoe mobiles, an outside sales team and hired and trained a staff that has continually had increases in all store locations. I believe that through educating and empowering a staff that you will always maximize ones potential. This is accomplished through constant reinforcement and education, as well as giving growth and opportunity to all who engage themselves. I believe in managing behaviors rather than attitudes, all while giving positive reinforcement and always being a solid leader and mediator in every situation. Success has been driven by focusing on customer service, having the right marketing and merchandising strategies and applying this to every opportunity that enters the door.

Waited tables, ran a kitchen and wait staff while providing top notch customer service. Periodically had to cook, wait tables, host and cashier at same time, but did so with a smile. The people that frequent a Denny's at 2:00AM are very interesting indeed.
