Senior Diversity Equality And Inclusion Specialist
CurrentServed as the program manager for the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Program for Fort Benning, Ga. overseeing the successful training, management and development of Diversity Equity and Inclusion Programs in accordance with policies, regulations, and guidelines for over 30,000 Soldiers, their families, and the Department of Defense (DOD) Civilians. Directly managed 17 DE&I Specialist.Administered Organizational Surveys ensuring the organization's vision statement as it relates to Diversity and Inclusion were in line with Senior Leadership expectations. Conducted focus groups, quarterly training sessions, and numerous 10-day classes to educate managers and supervisors on Diversity and Inclusion techniques.Provide counsel and guidance to supervisors and managers on best practices associated with leading employees from diverse backgrounds and perspectives, and aligns inclusion initiatives with the organizational mission, goals, strategies and metric.Conduct, facilitate, and coordinate training and education on diversity and inclusion topics for numerous organizations, and followed annual training plans to educate and train employees, supervisors, managers and leaders on diversity principles and cultural competency skills for leading a diverse workforce.Participate in external meetings, conferences, and/or events targeting diverse communities to develop networks and relationships.
