 Provide support to the Office of Human Resources by assisting in all functional areas (i.e., Employment, Benefits & Retirement, Pay & Leave and Classification). Employment: Applicant tracking system administrator providing consultations to applicants and department regarding use of OASys (on line application system) both face to face as well as by phone. Conduct reviews of all recruitment requests before posting online to ensure that all Affirmative Action, EEO, and university guidelines have been met. Approve all requests for user accounts within the OASys system. Review applications for Support, OPS and student vacancies, adhering to Collective Bargaining agreement and Veteran's preference for hiring purposes. Conduct employment verifications. Conduct training for users of OASYS. Make job offers. Conduct New Employee Orientation every Monday. Handle all arrangements. Present the Employment, Pay & Leave and Benefits portion of NEO. Fill in for other presenters as needed. Keep packets updated and revise forms as needed. Review end of orientation surveys for areas of improvement and recommend changes as needed.  Pay & Leave: Input new hires into Banner (HRIS). Calculate and process the paperwork to payroll for any retro payments or overpayments and request on demand payments as needed. Work with departments to setup new employees (Faculty, A&P) and temporary contractors for system access.  Helped develop background check procedures for expanded program in 2012/2013. Helped develop electronic personnel action form structure in HRIS system and develop training materials.
