I am responsible for and oversee the Library and Learning Commons, Academic Testing Services, Academic Support and Tutorial Services (ASTS), and Credit for Prior Learning. I have a $3-million operating budget and directly supervise the work of 5 full-time faculty librarians, 9 full-time faculty tutorial coordinators, 7 adjunct faculty librarians, 1 Director of ASTS, and 5 support staff. I am an active member of numerous campus leadership committees including Dean's Council, Academic Governance Council, Associate Deans Council, Strategic Leadership Team, Learning Environments Team, Higher Learning Commission Accreditation Team, Faculty Evaluation Systems Team, Campus Common Reading, and many others. I am currently a member of the Learning Resource Center Renovation Steering Committee where we are building a $35-million state of the art Learning Resource Center. I serve as the Chess Club advisor and instructor.

As Dean of Libraries and Instructional Services at the College of Lake County, I oversaw three CLC Libraries, Testing Services, Professional Development for Faculty, New Faculty Institute and Leadership, Distance Learning Services and D2L support, LTA (Library Technical Assistant certificate) program, Art Gallery, and a $5.5-million operating budget. Within this division, I directly oversaw 8 full-time faculty, 2 professor emeritus librarians, 10 adjunct librarians, and 40 administrators and staff. I was President (2012-2014) of NILRC (Network of Illinois Learning Resources in Community Colleges) as well as an executive board member (2013-2016) and President-Elect for CARLI (Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois).

Manager and Director of Library operations, services, staff, and budgets. I supervised the work of 14 librarians and nine support staff. In January of 2012, we opened our state-of-the-art Renner Library and Learning Resources building which houses the Library, Distance Learning, Tutoring, and CETL (Center for Enhanced Teaching and Learning). The library received an ALA Merit Award. We were also recognized and featured in the Illinois Library Association Reporter. I was President of NILRC (Network of Illinois Learning Resources in Community Colleges) Distance Learning and Library community college consortium and participated in CARLI (Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois - Governing Member).

Managed all library operations, services, personnel, and budgets. I worked closely with the architechts, campus staff, and construction staff in building a state-of-the-art library and coordinated the library move to the new building in 5 days.

Planned, coordinated, managed, and directed overall operations, personnel, and staff for Circulation, Reserves, and Interlibrary Loans. I also served as Collection Manager responsible for the library collection of 550,000 books and over 2-million physical items. I coordinated the annual booksale of thousands of books.
