Mid-America is the largest third-party management company in the Midwest, offering customers more than 30 million square feet of commercial retail property.The company's portfolio includes over 100 properties in 4 states, ranging from national big box tenants to localized small specialty tenants.; ChicagoPortfolio Management:Oversaw 11 commercial retail properties or 1,000,000+ square feet in various markets including the Chicago Central Business District and Chicago and Indiana suburban sub-markets.Developed annual operating budgets for each property, including detailing recoverable and non-recoverable expenses, identifying slippage caused by tenant lease language, and amortizing any property related projects.Completed detailed due diligence of newly managed properties, specifically tenant interviews, tenant financial statement analysis, leases/estoppels abstracting, and on-site property inspections.Closely worked with and developed relationships with multiple client types, including large REITS, private/publically owned companies, and small proprietorships.Assisted in the negotiations of several tenant renewals, extensions, and rent reductions, specifically providing financial analysis of negotiated rent terms, leasing commissions, tenant allowances, tenant financial information.Facilitated the coordination of multiple large scale projects and tenant build outs.January 2012: 27,385 square foot, multi-level Walgreen's store opened in Chicago CBD, becoming the largest drugstore in North America.

Assisted in the short, medium, and long-term planning process of a multi-stage development project.Worked with the marketing team in charge of promoting newly developed 144-unit condominium project, including providing cost/benefit analysis of optimal pricing strategies in a challenging residential sales market.

Worked in Leasing Office of 550-unit apartment complex; actively leased apartments, managed current tenants, conducted complete audit of existing leases.Prepared critical pro forma and cost reduction analysis for the 2010 operating budget.

Conducted multiple sales blitzes; cold called potential customers; coordinated meetings with company executives seeking corporate event facilities.Participated in managerial analysis of day-to-day operations, including Average-Daily-Rate, occupancy/vacancy, and market segment research.
