As the Business Security Director, I am responsible for providing expertise and guidance in all areas of Security Crisis Management.•Ensure security vulnerabilities associated with human and physical factors are mitigated•Serve as the principal liaison with global Federal, State, and Local law enforcement and closely partner with the IT Risk, Legal, Compliance, Ombuds, and HR functions.•Define and lead a comprehensive security ecosystem that will ensure protection against loss, disruption, physical harm and/or reputational damage•Lead and manage Security Awareness Programs, Workplace Violence Program, Security Investigations, Physical Security, and Event Security•Possess and maintain a keen understanding of security vulnerabilities and associated controls relative to GE Hitachi•Develop and lead a robust Security Program to ensure minimal impact to the business from security events (Crime, terrorism, civil disorder, and both natural and man-made crises) and the rapid restoration of operations•Develop policies and procedures regarding Security and Crisis Management and ensure policies are compliant with federal, state, corporate and international regulations•Analyze and identify potential adverse activity against GE Hitachi, its people, or operations through the development of actionable intelligence, and the preparation of threat and risk assessments, to mitigate negative impacts to the business•Prepare well written comprehensive reports and executive summaries for management and legal counsel for disciplinary and prosecutorial actions•Posture the organization structure of the Security function to best align resource capabilities with business needs.
