As an intern at Ahold Delhaize, I work within the Innovations and Projects team in the Europe Business Services (EBS) division, which serves as the Project Management Office (PMO). In my role, I support various ongoing projects focused on HR and IT. These projects are aimed at driving improvements across all of Ahold Delhaize’s European brands, helping enhance overall efficiency and innovation within the organization.

As a Team Leader at Hoogvliet BV, I oversaw around 40 people and held numerous key responsibilities in my place of work. My role centered around enhancing the teams performance, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction and reaching the company's goals. Within this role, I held the following key responibilities: *Team leadership and management. I managed my team to maxamize on efficiency and productivity, while creating a inclusive work environment. With most of my team coming from the area, everyone connected very easily and we created a close, and bonded team.*Training and development. With a lot of employees coming into my team as their first job, I held an important role in training and teaching these employees in getting settled into the work culture, and developing them into becoming inclusive and indepent workers. *Planning and Control. With every day being unique, planning and control was a key responsibility I held in my role. Planning key tasks and controlling the day to day activities as they go, and of course, go wrong, I found this the most fun part of my job. *Customer service. With the purpose of profit maximalisation, listening to the customers voice and acting on their concernes, or, positive feedback, is an important part of being a team leader in a supermarket. Furthermore, I have the following experiences at my role as team leader:*Interviewing. Interviewing applicants for my department, and being part of the decision making of potentially hiring applicants. *Feedback delivery. Feedback delivery is an important part of employee training and development. While working in a smaller businness automatically makes for ongoing, continues feedback, we also hold feedback sessions twice a year with all employees. In these sessions we talk about what goes well and what not, and listen to their concerns.*EMR training. We get an EMR training once a year.
