Project Quality Director for a multi-discipline engineering firm that specializes in water treatment, wastewater, & regional water system projects. I have a variety of experience in the preparation of water supply, treatment, & distribution master plans; feasibility studies & facility plan reports; EPA Superfund project compliance & design; pilot studies for water treatment systems including pretreatment, membrane filtration, & reverse osmosis (RO); & the design of water treatment facilities including multiple lime softening & iron & manganese treatment water plants. I have served as the Project Manager for the design & construction of a 15 million gallon per day (mgd) Membrane (UF/RO) WTP Expansion for Fargo, ND and for an 8.8 mgd UF WTP for Pierre, SD. I’ve completed several Facility Plans and multiple pilot studies for various UF membrane systems including PVDF (pressure&submerged) & a ceramic (pressure). I am passionate about project delivery and have worked on design-bid-build (DBB) and Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) projects. I’ve also attended design-build conferences and I’m interested in Progressive Design Build (PDB), too. A pilot project was conducted from July 2011 through August 2012 at the Fargo WTP and consisted of pretreatment via plate settler technology, UF (GE ZW1000 submerged), and RO. We also pilot-tested multiple RO manufacturers under the same conditions using a RO membrane screening (ROMS) pilot. In December 2012, two additional MF/UF suppliers (Pall&Siemens) began pilot testing, which continued through May 2013. The $100M+ project was completed in 2018. In 2016, I helped Southeast Water Users District receive grant dollars of approximately $11.8M to provide potable drinking water to nearly 500 rural users with poor water quality or lack of good, clean, potable water. Additionally, I work with multiple other clients in ND, MN, and SD to help improve their water systems. I have worked together with Thief River Falls, MN to acquire a Competitive Grant to conduct a study on the relocation of their current surface water intake.
