Brian is currently semi-retired as an owner/operator of Bess Enterprises LLC. Bess Enterprises LLC is an Alaska statewide Oversize Load pilot vehicle service. Retired US Army (1990-2010) and then retired from Booz Allen Hamilton (2010-2021), as a Lead Associate Job Managing and assisting Program Managers with organizing and executing several contracts. Brian has over 30 years of experience with Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Operations, Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), Counter-IED (C-IED) Operations, Force Protection, Security Operations, Training, and Safety. His experience includes training and incidents involving Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNE) all of which required use and management of the Composite Risk Assessment process. He also maintains extensive experience in both OIF and OEF Theater of operations and worked within the senior leadership at both TF TROY and TF PALADIN. Brian has participated, managed, and trained military and civilian personnel in several C-IED, Safety, Security, and Protection oriented venues. Through his many assigned duties, his expertise has grown from directly managing small teams up to managing entire companies varying from a few to over 125 individuals. Brian’s experiences further expanded his expertise allowing him to become a proven manager and supervisor with effective communication skills and excellent computer skills.
