Oracle Database Developer / Project Manager

Completed projects using full project life cycle development with following technologies: Oracle Developer Suite 10g for generating forms and reports; Oracle tables, views, triggers; PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions; UNIX scripts; Crystal Reports; Java using Eclipse.Lead support person for the city’s automated referral management system - ARMS. Responsibilities include morning checkout, security administrator, production and user support tickets, weekly state tax offset check processing, employee debt cycles quarterly processing, state tax offset quarterly processing and the certification of the ARMS application. Expanded the initial role of ARMS to include collection of additional debt – Employee Water, Buildings Invoices and State Tax Offset Program. Assisted in the migration of Oracle database from 9i to 11g.Project Manager for a debt outsourcing project. Responsibilities included project management and providing all life-cycle project deliverables (e.g., project plan, status updates, reporting, issue resolution, etc.). Managed two technical resources. Enhancements to the Administrative Hearings Java interface to ARMS.System Administrator for the city’s point of sale packaged software system (Active Network’s Payment Manager). Responsibilities include managing upgrades, system setup, security, performing all administrative procedures, resolving user issues, working with vendor to resolve issues.

Assisted in the design, development and implementation of an orders generation process. Generated Oracle forms and reports. Developed Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, tables, views and triggers using Oracle Designer 6i, Toad, Rapid SQL and SQL*PLUS.Developed Oracle packages and procedures to process EDI transactions for their Defense department. Both SPEC 2000 and X12 standards were used to send and receive quotes, orders, inquiries and invoices electronically. As part of processing the transaction through X12, stored procedures using Oracles UTIL_FILE were written to load the fixed flat files from UNIX.

Completed enhancements for their management reporting system. Responsibilities included updating and developing CICS DB2 programs, SQL, dynamic SQL and Sybase stored procedures in UNIX, Converted PowerBuilder data windows to Crystal Reports.Custody Passport web based project. Process included: converting PowerBuilder to Crystal Reports and designing and developing new Crystal reports per user requirements.

Normalized tables using Oracle Designer and Developer. Responsibilities included: analysis by developing and running UNIX scripts, mapping fields, and creating the normalized tables, developing conversion PL/SQL procedures, modifying existing PL/SQL cursors and generating forms for the new tables.Completed projects related to enhancing a Distributed Support System. Processes included: adding PL/SQL procedures to existing packages, adding image stamps and user functionality to the fully integrated Oracle MarkView Image System. Also writing programs using WinBatch and imbedding them into Oracle forms to manipulate the MarkView forms.
