I am an experienced and skilled level 3 offshore crane operator with 14 years of oil and gas experience. For the last 7 years, I have been involved in several projects as a crane operator, operating multiple types of cranes on many different rigs while employed with Helmerich & Payne offshore then, and now with Noble Drilling. I have managed properly those projects until the completion, which have been done effectively and safely. I possess a deep knowledge of the oil and gas industry in using the best technologies and procedures in order to deliver optimized solutions according to the company’s specifications. Before becoming a crane operator I was a derrick man for H&P on land. Prior to this I was a field instrumentation technician with MD Totco/ National Oilwell. I serviced a very large area in East Texas and maintained great relationships with all of my customers while doing so for over 2 years. My time offshore since 2009 has led to the opportunity to become certified in numerous facets of the profession. I am a Certified Rigger, Able Seaman, Fast Rescue Boat Certified, Rig Pass/ Safegulf/ Safeland certified, Merchant Marine Document holder, Advanced Marine Firefighting Certified, Offshore Water Survival, US Coast Guard Water Survival, SMS Certified, and some others relevant to offshore safety and the Crane Operator position. I’ve also started trying to transition myself into the drilling side of operations by completing IADC Level 3 Driller’s Well Control while employed with Noble Drilling. I believe I can fill any role from Assistant Driller or Crane operator to any position needed.
