The New Hope Shelter is a Faith-based Shelter started here in Newton Kansas in 2005. We have a staff of seven plus a lot of volunteers. We assist Men, Women and families and have capacity for thirty people. We have an initial seven day stay time and a ninety day program. In that program we teach life skills five days a week. Eighty plus percent of the people who finish our ninety day program graduate with a job. We give out food packages to needy families.

I manage a faith based Homeless Center with a 43,000 sq. foot facility in SW Missouri. We have capacity to house 45 homeless people. We gave out 470,000 pounds of food and 1000 units of furniture and appliances to needy families last yr.
