I was responsible for direct and tier 2 agency revenue for our 3 Sydney radio stations. During that time we were the top billing FM stations in Australia, winning 2 ACRA awards for best metropolitan sales team. My team included 30 Sales people, 7 managers and 6 coordinators. I was promoted to National Sales Director in 2013.

Responsibility for all tier 1 national Agency revenue for ARN. By the time I was promoted out of the role, my team had doubled our market share.'My first initiative was to restructure the sales team and introduce the role of Strategist to provide audience insights to clients and agencies. Since then, most media organisations have added Strategists to their teams.

When I began in September 1993, monthly revenue was approximately $500k per month, By May 1995 it had doubled and by 1999 WSFM was the number 1 direct billing FM station in the world. That year, I was a finalist in the US Radio Ink magazine Sales Manager of the Year - the only foreign finalist - and was flown to Atlanta for the awards (didn't win, hometown decision! :)
