I assisted the Vice President of Operations and completed the Annual Carbon Emissions Audit that tracks the amount of carbon emissions NYBG released during the year. I served on the Engineering Commission for a new building (“Edible Academy”), working with engineers to ensure proper construction. I recorded all test results and noteworthy items needed, and provided notes to the VP of Operations.Additionally, I was assigned to write comprehensive reports on several completed “Green” projects. I created summaries of projects that included timelines, expenses, working hours, and other details. Among my achievements:❖Examined previous years’ reports and data saved in the calculator, identifying discrepancies. Additionally identified and updated all outdated formulas within the calculator. Created separate files for raw data to be used on future audits, ensuring non-occurrence of discrepancies.→ Wrote a report on the end results that NYGB used to track Green projects. → Demonstrated ability to pinpoint issues and extend beyond assigned tasks to fix problems.❖Represented NYBG at the Solar and Storage Summit held by the City University of New York.
