Perform changeovers on the Barwell or Extruder machines, which include tear down of set-ups, cleaning of Barwell/Extruder and die holders, selection of proper dies and adjustment of controls. Mill rubber to specifications. Maintain an acceptable quality level. Roll rubber into pigs as required. Operate r.p.m., temperature, volume, blade speed and vacuum controls. Slit all rubber to fit into the Extruder feed box. Mill and cut rubber for Royal Extruder. Process all scrap and extra material into sheets for return to stock or use in other performs. Handle other auxiliary equipment necessary to the operation of equipment such as cooling tanks, storage trays, racks and boxes. Process all scrap. Maintain all paperwork needed for the processing of manufacturing, payroll and quality systems. Operate computerized data collection system as required. Keep work area clean, neat and safe. Perform other duties as directed by supervision.
