Responsible for the overall financial management of multiple healthcare staffing offices, with an emphasis on credit, billing, collections, and branch profitability. Responsibilities include: review and approve contracts, review and approve branch expenses, review and approve payroll, analyze financial trends, manage A/R and billing, review weekly and monthly financial performance.

Direct all aspects of the business office for thirteen long-term care facilities, including billing and collections, medical claim review, accounts payable, and financial reporting. Manage and train business office managers in long term care facilities. Implement policies and procedures for processes related to accounting, the business office, and processing medical claims. Responsible for the management of all cash flow. Project and budget day-to-day and long–term cash flow strategies. Generate analytical reporting of cash management.

Manage multiple customer accounts while performing recovery audits. Analyze financial data to identify, validate, submit, and recover claims; such as duplicate payments, overpayments, wrong vendor payments, paid credits, returns, discounts, pricing errors, escheatment, etc. Travel to U.S. locations to build client rapport and audit financial documentation related to claims. Obtain supporting documentation in order to present recoveries. Present claims to client’s vendors and process recoveries. Build relationships with vendors as well as clients to insure smooth transitions between validating and billing authorized claims.Provide client with a weekly update discussing details of pending and processed claims. Produce final narrative audit reports at end of engagement analyzing root causes of recovered claims and present recommendations for improving systems to avoid future claims.
