As part of the English Innovations pilot program funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and managed by One America, I facilitated English Language Learning (ELL) classes using technology to teach language skill. This involved making the ELL infrastructure operational, training students in the computers, software, and online connections necessary to receive language instruction, and support their usage and skill development. Provided guidance to Microsoft support groups and product teams, and directly managed relationships with hundreds of Microsoft Most Valued Professional (MVP) awardees directly in the United States and indirectly to thousands of awardees worldwide. Over the years, evolved expertise in Social Networking, Online Community Dynamics, and Relationship management.

Assisted the Microsoft Accessibility Architect with research and writing of Microsoft’s accessibility guidelines, developed and delivered presentations on Microsoft’s accessibility efforts to partners and customers. Advised Microsoft Product Support Services at the executive level on accessibility in its service offerings and product features of interest to people with disabilities.

Provided technical support services to customers through direct interaction and consultation with front-line engineers. Developed Microsoft Knowledge Base articles, whitepapers, and technical training for both support engineers and customers. Presented technical and soft skills training to Microsoft support personnel and support partners.

Managed technical support and assistance to users of Hot Line software and data products. Implemented call log tracking systems and support subscription programs. Trained and managed technical support staff. Participated on the product development team.

Designed courseware and taught classes introducing people to computer, operating systems, and applications.
