Following 12 years with Barclays Bank in Guernsey in retail banking, security perfection and lending, I moved to Kleinwort Benson (C.I.) Limited and became their Senior Lending Specialist in the Guernsey Office. At KBCI was responsible for their large and complex loans including residential property and development, portfolio lending to private and corporate clients, tax planning transactions and some commercial property work. My role required that I be the first point of contact for potential clients through the initial enquiry, the underwriting process, loan drawdown and then the maintenance of the client. I was targeted with growing the lending book whist maintaining quality.I joined Schroders in 2004 as Credit Manager with a specialty in property lending and dealing directly with clients and business professionals. In 2012 I was made Head of Credit.I sit on the banks Credit & Risk Committee, its Asset and Liability Committee and its Executive Management Committee.I hold the Certificate in Mortgage Advice & Practice and the Investment Advice Certificate and I am Level 4 qualified.Specialties: Credit Management, Cash Management, Real Estate Financing, Business Development on a business to business and business to client basis.
