Lead software and electrical team through NPD process from concept to productionDevelop product specificationsEnsure design reviews and inspections are executed and documentedResearch new technologies that relate to potential new productsDesign, develop, and revise circuit board assemblies and wire diagramsIdentify potential patent opportunities and file disclosuresOrCAD schematic capture and layout tool administratorPoint of contact between management and team

Gather and centralize the Design Documentation Drive and Document Design Internal MeetingsFront line customer interface for Product DesignResponsible for Balance between EE, ME, SW & Mfg Preferred ProcessesMake technical and performance trade-offsOwns closure of all product 8DsRelease of design into documentation systemAssist program manager with product design scheduleWork with customer to ensure requirements are totally understoodResponsible for product BOM including achieving cost targetsEstablish cost targets for Core/Platform Engineering
