• Responsible for designing, testing, and implementing advanced super computing systems and tools for three US Army programs. Special interests in parallel computing (Linux clustering), Linux (Redhat Enterprise, Ubuntu, Debian, Centos), Cisco equipment, Nexus fabric switches, ASA firewalls and IPS, general switching and vlans with trunking. • Continuous monitoring and patching of the imagery acquisition and ground processing systems to maintain software compliance and program information security posture. On site system vulnerability and compliance scanning and quarterly remediation recommendations throughout the patching lifecycle – Intake, Patch Scheduling, Testing, Change Management, Installation and Deployment, and Assessment.• Participated in system design to meet DOD requirements for DIACAP accreditation of several systems• Risk assessments and auditing as required to maintain system accreditations ensuring IAVM compliance, quarterly vulnerability assessments, configuration management, HW/SW inventory, and scheduled/non-scheduled security assessments. Continued risk analysis for system changes and government requests. • Develop and maintain information security best practices, documentation, and procedures to govern the integrity of information security.

• Technical consulting services in support of the US Army – Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). • Provided advanced engineering/programming support for the ingestion and retention of RAW mission imagery used in OCONUS forensic analysis intelligence products.• Collaborated with various development teams on multiple Wide Area Surveillance (WAS) ground processing and Geospatial Intelligence capabilities into both the OIF and OEF theaters of operation. These include:- Constant Hawk Analysis and Mobile Processing System (CHAMPS I & II)- Airborne Wide Area Persistent Surveillance (AWAPSS) and airborne IR sensors.- Tactical Operations LIDAR (TACOP), an airborne laser imaging sensor.- Multi-Aperture Sparse Imager Video System (MASIVS), an airborne imager.- Tactical Common Data Link (TCDL), a line-of-site air-to-ground data link.• Collaborated with federal laboratories, US Government intelligence agencies, and defense industry leaders to develop, integrate, and deploy geospatial intelligence including MIT Lincoln Labs, JHU Applied Physics Labs, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, L3 Communications and BAE Systems. Designed several highly complex clustered information systems capable of processing about 20 TB (daily) of information. Designed solutions for data archival, restoration, disaster recovery, and security ensuring high availability.

• Engineering team oversight specializing in testing, analysis, remediation and implementation of security requirements for sensitive data for enterprise accounts. • Network trainer for over 50 Service Assurance Cisco engineers on network fundamentals, DNS, Routing and switching, layer 2 and layer 3 designs.• Provided Second Tier support for Layer 3 services and escalation management.• Managed and actively participated in small development team that produced and managed web based tools for internal use supporting operations. Primarily based on LAMP, database driven architecture, with several servers around the country feeding data into the tools.
