Technical Site Lead - Information Security
Current• Responsible for designing, testing, and implementing advanced super computing systems and tools for three US Army programs. Special interests in parallel computing (Linux clustering), Linux (Redhat Enterprise, Ubuntu, Debian, Centos), Cisco equipment, Nexus fabric switches, ASA firewalls and IPS, general switching and vlans with trunking. • Continuous monitoring and patching of the imagery acquisition and ground processing systems to maintain software compliance and program information security posture. On site system vulnerability and compliance scanning and quarterly remediation recommendations throughout the patching lifecycle – Intake, Patch Scheduling, Testing, Change Management, Installation and Deployment, and Assessment.• Participated in system design to meet DOD requirements for DIACAP accreditation of several systems• Risk assessments and auditing as required to maintain system accreditations ensuring IAVM compliance, quarterly vulnerability assessments, configuration management, HW/SW inventory, and scheduled/non-scheduled security assessments. Continued risk analysis for system changes and government requests. • Develop and maintain information security best practices, documentation, and procedures to govern the integrity of information security.
