Trained to run a shrinkwrap machine and three Bretting facial folders. Gives breaks to folders and moves up as necessary to cover vacations and other days off.

Trained on Jagenberg and Toschi rewinders and cores machines. Gave breaks on rewinders and moved up when needed to cover vacations or paid days off. Ran 4 cores machines. Making sure machines ran as efficiently as possible to minimize downtime on the unit or units cores were being ran to.

Pulled lumber units from outfeed chains of sawmill and sorted properly; loaded green lumber units onto kiln carts and then loaded into kilns; monitored kilns, hot checked charges with Wagner moisture meter and stack probe and either pulled or restarted loads as necessary; hauled dry lumber to proper area to be run by the planer mill.

Miscellaneous base labor. Began by training and running lumber bin sorter in planer mill. Moved onto learning how to paper wrap finished lumber and operator a trim saw for unplanable lumber. Finally learned how to operate Signode strapper/squeezer. Also did clean up around the planer mill.

Worked in groups of up to four including myself working on miscellaneous construction projects, mainly involving roofing. Worked on every stage of the roofing process from tear off, decking, placing felt, and putting on architectural shingles. Also worked on flat roof technologies such as hot tar roofing and torch on roofing materials.
