• Prepare and operate within established maintenance operating budget and monitor department expenditures.
• Assists with planning for annual and longer-term capital budgets.
• Responsible for executing the capital plan to include all engineering design and project management, working with both internal and external resources.
• Acquainted with local/state/federal environmental regulations and ensure compliance with all operational permits. Directs all aspects of building operations including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.

• Train, motivate and direct employees to adhere to safe work methods /standards
• Promote teamwork to achieve company goals and objectives
• Control departmental overtime
• Enforce plant’s safety and 5S programs
• Seek continuous improvement in the maintenance department employees
• Ensure work is accomplished in a safe and efficient manner
