Plumbing being a family business, Brian started in the plumbing field at the age of 16. Brian graduated from Windsor Secondary on the North Shore in 1993. He continued with his schooling for a further 4 years at BCIT and PVC and obtained his journeyman plumbing certification. Brian also studied 4 years of Mechanical Drafting including one year of CAD drafting. Brian then spent two years in the Air Conditioning field and one and a half years in Sprinkler fitting. This additional experience has allowed him much versatility and knowledge in his plumbing and mechanical field today. He has also had the chance to experience and work on many projects both in and out of town. Brian has specialized in waste and water issues for the last 9 years including extensive work on cross connection control.Brian's trade accomplishments and certification includes:• Inter-provincial plumbing TQ ticket• Class B gas ticket• Cross Connection Control• Business Modules 1-2-3-4• Bar tending ticket (of course!!)• Restricted "C" class electrical ticketBrian's mentor in both his work and personal life was his father, John Bradshaw. He worked extensively with his father for 4 years at Dukes and Bradshaw Mechanical. After the passing of John Bradshaw, Brian and his partner John Fornari Jr. took on the exciting task of opening up their own company Altac Services Inc. in June 2003.Brian is a Board Member with MCABC (Mechanical Contractors Association of B.C.) and MCA Canada and has been involved with both for the last 10 years. Currently Brian is Chairman of the Open Shop Committee of Canada.
