I directed a senior team of 4 managers with overall responsibility for financial results and performance of the Dunstable site. Reporting directly to the group operations director. Site turnover was approx £24 million with 250 employees; Automotive interior trim manufacturers

As Operations Director I was second in command of the company reporting directly to the chairman. I was present at the start up of this company. As one of the first employees I was involved in the set-up of all procedures and policies for this greenfield site. At the start of production I spent 6 months training in the U.S.A. In 1990 the site closed due to excess capacity in Europe. I then took up the role of project manager to transfer the production.
