Director of Innovation and Instructional Technology is responsible for the implementation of three aspects of technology and instruction; including technology being used as a tool for learning by students, teachers planning and implementing instructional techniques using technology to engage student in learning, and the infrastructure needed to support the use of technology in the District. The MERIT program is the KCI’s premier technology-focused professional development program. MERIT is a research-based, educator development program designed to help teachers bolster their curriculum with technology-enhanced learning activities to motivate, challenge and inspire the diverse learners and leaders of the future.As the Assistant Director, collaboratively work with the MERIT Director and KCI Teacher in Residence to plan and instruct during the MERIT program.
