With over 33 years of work experience in the nonprofit sector, I am a passionate and experienced leader in fundraising, marketing, and strategic communications. I am the Chief Executive Officer of Starlight Children's Foundation Canada, a national organization that brightens the lives of seriously ill children and their families. I am driven by the mission of bringing joy, laughter, and relief to children facing life-threatening challenges, and I am committed to creating a culture of compassion, collaboration, and innovation within the organization and among our partners and supporters.As the CEO of Starlight Children's Foundation Canada, I oversee the development and implementation of the organization's strategic plan, vision, and goals. I lead a team of dedicated and talented staff and volunteers, who work together to deliver high-quality programs and services to our beneficiaries across the country. I believe in no ceilings for our Starlight children and strive to give them every unique and incredible experience possible. I also manage the organization's finances, operations, governance, and stakeholder relations, ensuring accountability, transparency, and efficiency. I leverage my skills in fundraising, marketing, and strategic communications to generate awareness, engagement, and support for our cause, and to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with donors, sponsors, media, and other key stakeholders. I am proud of the impact and growth that Starlight Children's Foundation Canada has achieved under my leadership, and I look forward to continuing to make a difference in the lives of children and families in need.
