Enterprise Applications Qa Manager
CurrentStarted my employment with Securus in 2006 as a QA Analyst testing application services, databases and other software related projects designed and developed by all development teams. All phases of application testing included working with many types of code like C, C++, C#, SQL, .NET, XML, Java, CGI, PHP, etc. The team works with many departments within the organization to build and enhance tools and applications for both internal and external customers. Areas of testing included enhancements to Billing systems, IVRs, Call Center Applications, Marketing portals, Sales and Commissions, Customer Web interfaces. etc. Tools used for testing included but not limited to, Quality Center, SQL 2000 - 2008, Oracle, Visual Studio 2003 - 2010, MS Office products, CMS, CRM, Heat, Source Safe, etcI was promoted to Supervisor in March of 2011 and manage the QA team for Enterprise Applications department. In this role I implemented new processes and procedures for development handoffs to QA. Train and guide the team to use Quality Center for test cases and defect tracking for projects. The team and the department continue to follow SDLC processes while staying SOX compliant. As Supervisor I continued to organize and maintain code repositories within VSS for a short period of time. During this time I had assisted with migrating all code to Collabnet and continue to manage and place code in each of the repositories as required. As of April 2013 I have been promoted to Manager of the Enterprise Applications QA team. My focus as manager for the team is to keep project deliverables on time, with minimal defects, and within budget while working closely with all developers both internal and external. As a manager of the team, I also continue to work with architects, developers and others to help build and maintain all Test, Dev, and Training environments needed for Development, QA, Pre-Production deployment and Training.
