I would like to submit a brief history for your consideration.I have been working since I was 12 years old. I started with a paper route that I did by myself, I did not have my parents drive me around, even in the dead of winter with snow piled everywhere!I have worked in grocery stores, sporting goods stores, jewelry stores, computer stores, and motorcycle shops. I have done retail sales, new motorcycle sales, delivered furniture, and been a motorcycle mechanic.I worked in radio and TV sales departments for 6 different stations.I started my own company soliciting business from several large national and international clients. I created large related database programs managing millions of dollars in rebates to thousands of contractors in the US and Canada. This was very detail oriented service requiring analytical data control. I was responsible for over 3 million dollars in payments each year. I started my own retail store, providing jobs, and real life education, for numerous high school and college students. I ran a UPS store that I purchased from a member of our community and brought into our motorcycle shop as a community service. I have years of distributor and retail experience.I worked as an outside rep for a distributor in the motorcycle industry, calling on 80 dealers across the state of IL. I worked as a regional sales manager for another distributor and traveled all over a large part of our country training reps and improving their presentation techniques.I do not have an accounting degree, but have done years of book keeping work for a retail store and Cooperative Media successfully and profitably for many years. This includes payroll services, and 1099’s for contractors. Everything I have done has revolved around sales and customer service. I regard sales as service related, since my job is to find solutions for my customers. I am now looking to continue my growth and to give back in some small way what I have learned over all these years.
