Contract Supervisor/Surveyor:Contracts supervisor/surveyor at Cruden Property Services Ltd managing contract for our client Halifax/ HBOS Plc. This involves raising jobs on our operating systems, contacting the policyholders to arrange an appropriate appointment for me to carry out a site inspection to view the damage relating to their claim with the HBOS.On site I explain to the policyholders the reason of my visit, and how I am going to progress each stage of their claim. I measure the affected areas of the claim and calculate the estimate for reinstatement works from SOR and on approval of this estimate I contact the policyholder to arrange a convenient start date for the work to commence. Arrange all the relevant trades needed to start and complete the reinstatement work for the policyholder. I communicate on a regular basis with the HBOS Personal Claims Consultants and the HBS claims centre with any issues relating to the claim and I also attend joint site visits with the Personal Claims Consultants to scope complex jobs.I prioritise my own workload and provide a full confidential service to all contracts. My office duties include updating MI sheets, KPI and statistical excel spread sheets on a daily basis and prepare completed jobs for invoicing. Dealing with telephone or email enquires and decision-making with policyholders, PCC's, specialist contractors and drying companies and attend monthly contract meetings
