During my 21 years in education, my passion has been fostering teachers' and students' identities as sense makers. I've taught across the elementary grades, designed digital math curriculum for elementary and middle schools, and supported 34 elementary schools at the district level as a curriculum coordinator. In addition, I've presented at and been on the planning committees for local, regional, and national conferences; co-founded a weekly Twitter chat; served as Vice President for a state-wide organization of math leaders; and served on the board of a teacher-led organization that provides professional development to educators around the world.
